Chinese Chicken Salad with Tangerine....






We squeezed a little tangerine into this recipe, adding a zesty kick to it.

CHINESE CHICKEN SALAD

Salad Ingredients:

1 chicken breast grilled or baked

1 tangerine (be fun if it were red)

1 stalk of romaine lettuce, chopped or shredded

1 tbsp chopped almonds

4 green onions, chopped

Dressing Ingredients:

2 tbsp sugar (a little treat)

1 tsp accent

1 cup of sesame oil

2 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tsp kosher salt

¼ cup white vinegar

Let the prepping begin:

In a bowl add to romaine lettuce. Chop or shred chicken breast and drop on top of lettuce, add tangerine slices, mix in almonds and chopped green onion.

Mix dressing in a separate bowl, pour over salad, toss and serve.

  1. Hey Coach T - Great recipe! Maybe I take things too literally, but when you say to pour the dressing over the salad - how much dressing would you recommend?
