
By my definition it's when you push yourself beyond your comfort zone. You've gone to extreme levels by doubling or tripling the weight you normally lift, you're performing interval sprints at an unimaginable peak, you're moving at a pace where you're only getting 30 second rests between sets or intervals.
You'll know when you're at that level when you're dropping the F-bomb through out your workout because it's extremely challenging and you're wishing the workout would end...when it's only just begun. You'll know you're there when you're heart rate hits the ceiling and you feel as though you're going to pass out and you just might. You'll know you're there when you're soaked from head to toe with sweat. You'll know you're there when you feel like you're going to puke during and after each set or interval and it's possible you will. Are you there yet?
I experience this feeling with every one of my workouts, 7 days a week! There are no breaks; Enough said.
