The secret to losing weight

By now you've read about weight-loss diets in magazines, books, newspapers, blogs, on-line research, friends and family. You've probably tried at least a dozen different diets. You may very well be on a diet right now! Aren't we all.

Everyone is looking for a quick weight-loss solution. You may have tried the cabbage diet, the lemon diet, the eat fruit only diet or any other "lose 10 pounds in a week diet". You probably lost weight, but are these diets ones that you can sustain on a daily basis in order to prevent your body from springing back to it's heavier weight? Probably not. The truth is there is no permanent quick fix weight-loss program

The best way lose weight is by eating clean and exercising regularly. It's pretty straight forward. If you eat fruit, vegetables, grains, lean meats and low-fat dairy products and exercise daily you will lose weight.

So if it's really that simple why is America overweight? There are many reasons why. Is it because we are lazy, we have limited cash, we're busy, we don't have a gym membership?

Fortunately, eating clean doesn't require a big budget or a specialty market. You can buy clean eating foods at any grocery store and you don't need a gym membership to exercise.

Most people can't lose weight because they don't have the will power nor the drive to commit to a diet and exercise program. If instant results aren't realized, everything is thrown out the door. Yet to start another diet on next Monday.

If this sounds like you, don't panic there is help out there. Consider hiring a fitness coach/personal trainer to help you achieve your fitness goals.
